LOL, coming from the westside where they couldn't trap a ball for their lives. Pipe down little sister.

***C goes all the way west to I5, and North to 78th St. These areas were historically, Evergreen SC, Central SC, and some other ones, pre merge.

You can blame a guy named Jan Glick(merge facilitator, and paid consultant) and the WSYSA for not cleaning things up as the merge occurred. Columbia Timbers hierarchy glomming onto VUSA as they saw their days numbered, thus giving birth to the current ***C.

Pacific has ZERO claim to Luke Jensen, or dibs as someone called it. Again, they're not a club and because of this have no rights to any field in Vancouver let alone Clark County. They can rent them through actual clubs. Certain types here need an attorney to figure this out. Beside renting fields they are by definition a non-entity.

The primary users of this facility are Salmon Creek Little League and Vancouver West Soccer Club (formerly Westside Soccer Club).

Other youth and adult sports groups may also reserve field time based on a scheduling prioritization established in the Preliminary Operations and Use Fee Policy for Luke Jensen Sports Park. The fields will be available for unorganized, public use approximately 10 percent of the year, or when not already reserved."

As the person below just posted the club with the first "dibs" for luke jensen that gets first priority is westside soccer club, which is how pacific gets those fields. They are reserved through westside soccer and used by pacific.

Pacific is the "advanced competition" wing of westside soccer club, which is why they have first dibs at luke jensen.

                  I......can........say..........it..........slooooo owwwer, if you like.

Pacific is a parent fantasy with no affiliation, and no contractual agreements in place.

They were actually way more unique and relevant when they were called Chinook.

Believe what you want, but Pacific FC is more relevant in Clark county than the Timbers are any more. And yes, they are real.

Pretty sure Timbers and FCSC are the parent fantasy. If you want your kid to play college, then they have to be in Premier, you have to travel to California, you have to play in Medford. Yes, I know our team sucks, but we are premier. I know you kid sits on the bench the whole game but you can tell your friends, your kid plays premier.

I think what the poster was saying is that FCSC tried to have tryouts for U16/17/18 and had a total of 13 players show up for three agegroups. They all came back to play at W T F C
Your post is a perfect example of why this board is ridiculous: people who have absolutely no grasp of any facts can come on here and make shiite up.

"Gained 13 more players". Say what? Are you talking about the fact that they are now charging Forest ("C" team) players the same Tier 2 pricing as the "A" and "B" teams? That's not gaining players, that's getting more suckers willing to pay more money for the same product they had before.

The team that formed at FCSC is U16. How many players from WT showed up went back to play at Timbers? I'd like to know is ANY did that.

Exactly. Timbers LOST their entire '99 "A" team to either Spartans or FCSC. So now their "promoting" their B/C players to "A" and charging them for the experience of getting hammered every week. Sounds like fun. The downward spiral continues.

Pacific only has one really good team and in a few years the stronger players will head to a bigger club for better opportunities. Pacific is a feeder club. That's it. Premier matters at older levels way more then younger. Pacific does not have true premier teams past u12 It's a true select club. Parents would like to think otherwise though.
