    how is that?

WT_FC has access to the nicest grass fields around. DOC Harris is the best grass in Clark County and Harmony is starting to look good. I hear they hired a full time staff to work on the fields. I'm confident that the club isn't going to ask for $100 bills to practice on grass.
Actually, they should charge some money and put it towards the upkeep of Harmony. I wouldn't have a problem charging to practice at Harmony if they regularly seeded and fertilized and maybe even sanded it once a year.

If you are a tier 2 team, $1300 should pay for all of it. And that should include all home games harmony turf, all winter training harmony turf, and then a mix of harmony grass, harmony turf, and a few other NEARBY fields for the rest of the year.

thank god you're not in charge of our club. We are across the river from you. Stay over there. We charge $250 per year more and can barely pay for the fields we have. Vantucky is the cheapest premier club in the PDX area and is building turf. Now if you could just fix your parking lot that would be nice. I would love to only pay $1300/year and have what Vantucky gives.

$1300 per year is only about $1200 too high for what you get in Vantucky.

actually, the $1300 is fair now that they've cleaned out the riff-raff.

Poker night anyone? While NEVER putting together a solid coaching curriculum for the entire club.

At least the club feels like it going somewhere now, rather than spinning its wheels in Harmony mud.

Having D.H. fade away certainly helped.

They don't know where they're going, but they're going down the path. Probably not any better than before, just different.

How do you figure it's not better? Everything about it is better. I'm stoked, and most people I talk to are too. Numbers increasing, turf is almost laid down, grass is looking great with full time maintenance, Brett seems solid holding coaches accountable, Kat is a win, even the new ED seems legit (although I thought Eli was good too). I'd like to see more good coaches but even in just a few months of the new hires it's better than it was. That will take time to set the standard.

Honestly how can you say it's not better? I'm pretty happy.

I just got back from a very professionally ran coaching symposium that Brett Jacobs just ran today. I have coached her for 5 years and it has never felt more professional than it did today. National Staff presented a lights out session.
Don't tell me things haven't changed because they have.

SD used to have lights out coaching sessions too because he forgot to schedule turning on the lights.
