And left with the fact that the current system is not producing very much of anything, and will continue to do so, maybe even to a greater extent with the split league. Got it.

You are arguing a different topic, please try to keep up. And fwiw, the current system did produce a lot of top offers, including Pac 12 offers. Or have you not been paying attention. Those same type of girls, if they go to ECNL, will still get those offers. The players who didn't get offers before, still won't even if they play ECNL. I know of a couple of girls who got Pac 12 offers and who never did ECNL while others at their age group did do ECNL and didn't get Pac 12 offers.

Soccer players have been making it to college on all sorts of different paths. We have a couple of new paths so maybe there will be additional opportunity and maybe it will just create some good memories. At the end of the day it really shouldn't matter to anyone not participating in a activity that others do. For example: I find golf boring and really don't get how people can spend so much money on it. Doesn't matter though as I am not making it my quest to go out and tell all the golfers how stupid they are. I write it off as we have different ideas of what works individually. There is no one right or one wrong way. At least we have choices.

Pretty hard to have participated in ECNL and go to the PAC 12, considering it has not been here previously. And then you are simply lying, where did these girls you speak of play ECNL? No WA team would take some mediocre player, they don't need them and they will not fill up their travel roster with crud talent. I swear the arguments against ECNL must be coming from worried or defensive parents, or coaches all of whom are afraid of losing players or their jobs. Why argue it? ECNL is here and it will develop it's own stats over time. Then you can rag on it. But right now, everyone is just making stuff up. Including you.

Clearly you are a newb in all things soccer since you don't realize that many players from Portland have been going to Seattle to play as discovery players as well as full time players on their ECNL teams. There are some girls who drive up two to three times a week to practice up there. But you wouldn't know this because you have absolutely no clue about soccer here. You continue to make an ass of yourself through your lack of knowledge.

AP is always easy to spot. He's out buying a new keyboard as we speak due to the heavy wear and tear on the old one. Those keys can only take so much stress.

Oh how you are wrong. ECNL is going to turn our players all into superstars. We are going to get lots of top offers in D1. You watch. Players who would be D2 players before will now be top D1 players. Just look around, every ECNL player nationwide gets 2 to 4 offers to D1 schools. The same thing will happen here.

And girls playing in what's now the shambles of the OYSA H.S. league will still be playing crappy soccer. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Crappy is a strong word. But appropriate.
