That's what everyone is saying about the rosters being posted. Are they really still waiting for people to accept? And I spent $4200 on 6 trips. Which seems like a lot less than $8500.

BS. I guarantee we are a top team and didn't spend that much. And we traveled quite a bit. Apparently you didn't spend your money wisely.

Now that you mention it, when are the ECNL rosters going to be posted? It would be nice to know who is going to represent Oregon in the greatest thing that has ever happened to Oregon soccer.

The $8,500 includes the $2,000 Club/ECNL fees. The travel only budget should not exceed $6,500.

You were being disingenuous when slamming the other poster because you know that he was talking about the difference in the cost of club vs ECNL.

The ECNL aren't "representing Oregon" any more than the Thorns Academy team or any other club team is. They are representing their club only. They are club teams, not state or regional teams. How about you have your club post all of their rosters today so that mental midgets like you can pick each apart, name by name, for weeks on end...

The ECNL aren't "representing Oregon" any more than the Thorns Academy team or any other club team is. They are representing their club only. They are club teams, not state or regional teams. That's a big logical leap from "rosters aren't posted" to "numbers and quality MUST be low". Just like the logic that the Thorns Academy MUST be good because the Timbers say it is...

Well I'm sure she's not competitive enough anyway so no worries. And you do know that all ECNL rosters get posted, don't you? Regardless of your concerns. But then again, you don't have to worry since rec teams don't even have websites.

The reality is, a lot of people would like to know what the rosters are. A lot of people around here know the girls of various age groups and would like to know who moved over. I don't know why you think there is some ulterior motive, but maybe that's more your problem and should consider help. It also paints to the disorganization of the clubs. Funny, everyone thought the Timbers were so disorganized. Remember all the posts asking if they were going to announce the program and what it would consist of? All the bashing they took from the ECNL crowd. Yet the Timbers are moving ten times faster than ECNL. Also, most teams have their rosters up on Got Soccer, or are you not aware of this? FWRL, Regionals, ECNL, ... all post rosters as well. This is big girl soccer.

If you know the kid and are curious, then why don't you just call up and ask the parents or have your daughter ask the player. Not really why you care so much in the first place.

I am not sure why you think it is a priority for the clubs to pose the roster right away. The girls who got the invite know who they are. At some point the roster will be posted on the ECNL web site.
