The 99 navy was already the best team in PDX at the age group. If they can add 6 or 7 quality players from the area they will be significantly better.

A top team but they need 6-7 quality players. That says a lot right there. And the all important word "if". Listen, if you need 6-7 quality players to be good, then that team isn't very good right now. Congratulations on being the top local team at that age group. It means you you suck a little less than everyone else.

$10,000 a year is a lot of money to suck. Big losses are going to be tough to swallow game after game. So, are you planning on traveling to watch these beatdowns or just going to get it via text from you DD?

Turnout was very low for U16-U18. Mostly FCP girls. The ones from outside of the club were not top players.

However it works out, it can't be worse than the Timbers efforts so it's all good.

I don't think CU or FCP have had to recruit from TA teams so no, they won't have 6 b team quality players on the team.

Why do you TA folks care? The FC and CU teams weren't going to play in your league regardless. Does it really matter if they play in OPL with 100% of their own kids or in the ECNL with 100% of their own kids? What does it change for your team, other than a missed opportunity???
