How does anyone know that you went to "that meeting" Marbull? You seem to be calling out another poster's information yet how do people know you are a reliable/credible source?

Obviously your the parent of a current younger. Those of us that were around with younger's at the time and had an interest in hearing more about the "great" things these people were going to do for us went to that meeting (100+). There are many threads about all that was said and promised and for a brief time, written on the OPL website...do some research here. it shouldnt be that hard if you really have the itch.

Go back and look at my predictions. All that has to happen now is a Crossfire and THUSC to merge (or create an ECNL union) and I was spot on.

Looks like Crossfire, FC PDX, THUSC all got ECNL? Handing them out like candy. Add in the Thorns Academy and we essentially didn't change anything! All the talent dispersed into regular club like teams.

But with 2 or 3 ECNL teams AND a Thorns Academy don't you think this will be a problem? A lot of people are saying weak ECNL teams do not get college looks, so what's the point?

I just feel we would be better off with 1 elite team rather than several weaker elite teams. The boys are in so much better situation. It's exciting, but I have my doubts.
