ECNL starts at U14. Tryouts would need to be within a month. This is a moot issue for Oregon though as we do not have any ECNL teams. The organizations (Crossfire Oregon, THUSC, FC and Timbers/Thorns) that petitioned for ECNL should fess up that they didn't get it and not leave any false hopes to the players who they have made promises.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

ECNL will give one club this year a spot......next year the Thorns will have the other spot. Next year every Womens Pro Team will have ECNL Teams. The TA and Thorns will have plenty to gain by NOT havng ECNL. The top kids who do not want to do ECNL will go to them as they wont play on a B team at their current club. The ECNL clubs will gain some and lose some. Really the only bad thing by this is the leagues will be very weak. TA will have to find a place to put their teamsComment
