Hence the word suspect. The difference is you gave up speed for size the ECNL teams or great teams don't settle on one or the other. They get the players that have both. As for your 3 back see how long that will last. You will get picked apart especially with a slow back line. If onyx goes to ECNL TA is going to have to make some big changes if he wants yo compete with the big dogs at ECNL events. Just a fact.

My kid doesnt play for Onyx and Onyx has beat us. But our team has beaten ECNL teams before and played on par with others. The Oregon teams are fine. They may not beat all the top teams but they will get better.

If Oregon gets any, they get one, and Washington gets a third. No way OR can support two competetive ECNL clubs. And ECNL is not going to add one OR club with no travel partner. So the most likely scenario would be if Oregon gets any, they get one and Washington gets another one to be the traveling partner.

When Iridium won their big tournament a couple years ago they used like 5 top level out of state guest players. Then all the THUSC honks came on here bragging about how THUSC does so well out of state. Outside of Onyx, I'm not sure any THUSC teams have done well out of state without guest players.

THUSC is the only club in Oregon with all teams u12-u18 in champions league. They are the only club with 6 NWCL championships.

Looking at their history for last 4-5 years on the girls' side, they are a strong contender

If this is the criteria, THUSC doesn't get ECNL. Success out of state is their only hope...
