Thoughts
I hope THUSC and Crossfire gets ECNL then let's see what happens to the national title hopes. Not saying by any means that THUSC and Crossfire do not have competitive and very good teams but wait until you face full blown ECNL teams from around the country coming at you full strength. We are not talking about put together teams and practice rotation playing at non ECNL tourneys and events. The ECNL national championship is the hardest by far of all the national championships. We also need to remember that this market will be split in 2 teams and girls will move to the team that gets them the most play time for the money that's spent. Let's say a girl on THUSC is non starter why hang there for minimal play time you will try your chances at the other as there is not a lot of subbing in league games or events. I also think you will find the players that are up north playing ECNL will start migrating back and filling spots. It's is really going to make for a very interesting year when it happens. Personally I would think timbers and crossfire would get bids. They have the largest groups and most money by far to draw from. FC and THUSC are really small clubs by standards. Take crossfire premier and Washington premier and there size. Plus timbers and crossfire have there own fields. Just my thoughts.

I think Washington Premier is the only club in Washington that owns its own turf and grass fields, not Crossfire.

The big difference is Onyx only plays at those big events a couple times per year and the ECNL teams see that level all the tome

Found some info on the FC Dallas ECNL affliation, but after an internet search couldn't find anything regarding a Chicago Fire or Portland Thorns ECNL bid. The Fire's website does show
the other youth programs they sponsor.
