Argue all you want, but look at the current standings.
How stupid ARE you? The current standings have the B team doing better than the A team.

You are truly amazing, CFC parent.

This is not about cheating. This is about someone holding a grudge for a perceived injustice long past when they should have let go.
Because I know the players well. My son has competed with them and against them. It's a small soccer world. Not only were these players in their normal positions, they played more min than the Samba players.

Not sure why you're asking when you already know the answer. You're a WST parent yourself.

I would be very concerned with a tie to Crossfire, the team formerly known as Lake Oswego/Southside. C'mon, man!

Everything that I wrote is spot on for youth soccer period. Get over yourself. No concern about a tie. As I said before, anything can happen for a team between now and state cup. I have seen plenty of what I wrote about in the course of over 30 years+ as a player, coach, manager, and watching my kids play. Three games into a league and you are seriously overworked about the play of 13/14 year olds. Chill and enjoy the games.

Okay, we get it, you are an experienced old timer who has seen it all and likes to show off his credentials.

But, really, the question had to do with what was different about this team versus the past. That was all.

Maybe it is not "cheating", but it is pathetic. Our team is glad to have CFC in our Division as we get a chance to play against one of the best teams in the state and maybe learn from the experience. However, if I were a CFC player/parent I would be more than a little upset.

Twice now, I laughed at your assumptions. No, I am not a 'man,' and no, I am not an 'old timer.' No, no need to show off anything.

As I said before, and I do know the team that you are targeting, I did answer your question. Some new players, a new coach, body development transitions issues, and so forth. Same for other teams, at any given point in time. Duh! No team is a static entity. From May tryouts to a team's end in state cup run, things happen. To ask for a thorough analysis after three games into a league season deserves the answer I gave you. Instead of wanting an answer based on personal observance, experiences, and credentials, why not just say that you really aren't wanting an answer from anyone. Rather, you simply want to read your own posts.

You should laugh more than that! It's healthy.

How about an analysis after 5 games? I see the record is 1-3-1, with a loss to the B team.

Don't really want YOUR lame "analysis" but am certainly curious (from someone who thinks they know) what might be happening to this once top 2 team.

Samba beat Copa? Is the score backwards or is that correct? Is JB trying to get them to pass and play as a team and in the process sacrificing some wins?

I watched the game for about 30 minutes. No, JB wasn't there. The truth of the matter is NO, Copa is NOT playing as a team. Like the other poster stated, too much individual play going on. Samba deserved to win. THEY played as a team.

Unlikely...remember we are talking about Westside, "the greatest club for Boys in the World". More likely is they are two teams playing at the same mediocre level. What a great chance for JB to bust the chops of all the other clubs fighting for a position, "Look at the power of WST...not only can we get two teams in the top division, but they are two teams without winning records. There presence is all about my power...Mu wah ha ha ha"

You are so wrong. We had JB before and he would sacrifice wins for development. Don't know anything about this situation but you don't know what you are talking about.

I think the answer to the problem is simple. The 2 teams simply trade names. Copa to Samba and Samba to Copa. Solved.

I, personally, can't stand Westside for the most part. They'll cheat to win and I can't stand that. I do however think JB is a good coach and when he took over the current U13 last year the same thing happened. They had a bad fall season but pulled off state cup. I could see that happening with this team.

I watched and actually thought Copa dominated this first 15/20 mins, which included several opportunities on goal. I thought the individual play was not nearly as bad as previous weeks, especially from one of the best players. Copa was down 2-1 and actually had Samba on their heels the last 8 mins...at one point Copa had 6 players in the top 3rd and a player with the ball decided to take on 2 or 3 defenders just outside the 18. Bad idea...especially with several open teammates. The ball was lost, Samba countered and a goal was scored within 60 secs. Copa is VERY weak against the long ball...that's their biggest weakness.
