Yes we are now birth year. Get over it. You will lose your adult 01 friends but it will allow you to make new adult 02 friends. Some smaller clubs are letting parent groups stick together and play up.

You got that right - some PARENT GROUPS are being allowed to stay together (& keep their own kids in a good spot) by letting their kids stay together. Kids are resilient and adapt easily; its the parents who are freaking out. Since all clubs across the country are changing, it would be best for the kids to change also. Super small clubs excluded if they simply don't have teams above/below.

But my daughter plays on an 02 team, why would I chat about an 01 team? That's not her team.

I'm not worried about what happens after tryouts. Just saying- I don't think the 01 thread is my kids team today. Am I only supposed to be living in some future world?

I am confused. I have a 2002 that currently is on a 2001 team. If we are birth year here in this chat room, I should be in the 2002 thread. If not, then I am in the wrong thread.

I wouldn't be worried either after tryouts, you just have plenty of time to worry about what your going to do with all your free time when next year high school season comes around.
