Both OPL teams have played more games so yes they will be higher in the standings, and I don't think anyone is "rethinking" having the top teams all together, it's better for everyone.

These are updated even if the scores aren't revealed, unless the scores haven't actually been entered.
      I didn't know that, thx.

So, more losses for RV and Bend, but yes, you are right, Bend is improving, they scored a goal this weekend! GF is up to 3 for the season. Go Bend! We all love driving 3 and 5 hours for crap games.

So how good are the two pre-ECNL teams at this age group? Are they any better than last year's teams? Last year's teams are going to get destroyed in ECNL this year at U14. I really pity the CU teams because they are a cluster *&^% to begin with. Greeat idea to bring together players from 5 different teams with the hope that they can form chemistry to be competitive. Tom and Fraser are a couple of mad scientists to think this plan will work out.

True. If Eastside wins its next two games against FC and Bend they could overtake Thusc for third. And i suppose CFC could tie them with wins over WashT and Eastside.

That's a lot of "ifs". For clubs like ET, Bend, WashT, CFC, those usually result in "if nots"

They are very good - as they were last year. And this year's U14 ECNL teams will compete just fine in ECNL. Certainly much better than any other U14 team from Oregon.

Very good last year eh? Hmmmmmm. The records would seem to indicate otherwise. You do know that ECNL becomes a real burden on a club if you don't compete well? FC at least has the potential of becoming decent. But CU, with their crappy structure, is destined to fail year after year. Just like they did last year. Trust me, if they were remotely decent Tom wouldn't have given them up. Now they have Travis. If they weren't terrible last year, they sure will be this year with him coaching them. CU parents seem content on throwing lots of money down the old toilet.

The U14 encl team from fc portland finished mid-pack in the OYSA so hopes are not high for them.

Older ages FC portland has some good teams.

Crossfire United is looking like the best bet going forward.

Maybe they did better this weekend, scores?
The other teams in Gold are also improving so RV and Bend are still at the bottom of Gold. However, they continue to gain experience with the higher speed of play and skill of the other gold teams and aren't generally getting blown out. Drop to Silver and they might win more but will fall much further behind the other Gold teams and could likely never play Gold again. Stick with the challenges and they have a better chance to develop. Look at RVT in 3rd place after half a. season in u14G. Wouldn't be there if they'd chosen to play Silver at u12 & u13 so they could get more wins.

How many players did RVT U14 lose to ECNL? Zero. Might explain how they moved up the table so suddenly. Truth is they are no better than last year, just that the competition is worse.

Sounds like all rec teams should be allowed in Gold then.

At least 1-0 FC. Unless Copa TS allowed some goals against Bend, it looks like FC got 3 on them.
