Why do you need FCP/Cu to tell you how much a flight to Salt Lake and a hotel room is, look it up! If you share your room with another parent as dumb as you are, then divide by 2.

If the total cost is $10,000 for the kid, $7000 is for travel. So assume that or more for parent travel. If you assume $10,000 + $7000 that includes parent travel.

There are parents who are carpooling six to a car and driving to the showcases to save money. I think some of them even sleep in the car which saves even more money.

Why in the heck would you need "them" to tell you how much it will cost for you to travel? Do you think you're going to show up at the airport with your rolling suitcase and the coach is going to hand you a boarding pass?

That sounds like it might save money but be a little awkward. What if there are men and women? Do they all sleep in the car together?

I love the creativity. That's six plane tickets and six hotel rooms for 4-5 days saved. Keep the good ideas coming!

Start a twitter account for the team. Then chaperones can post pictures of the trip. You can also post game actions (goals, saves) during ganes for parents that arent travelling. Just don't include last names for the kids.

This is fantastic. Not sure I want my husband driving to Texas with a bunch of moms but if it's just the dudes it would be a great way to save money if you can get the time off work.
