That's what our club does too but the ones who volunteer are always the top 5 from the A team - they are crazy about soccer and also love scoring a bunch of goals on easy prey.

For a B team game? My dd has played 'Navy' for years at FC and when she played on the white team she usually anchored the defensive line (she never plays that position with the Navy team) She did play most of the match but they only had a couple of subs typically and allowed some of the b teams kids play forward, etc. I have never seen FCP go out of their way for a 'b' team win. Now if some Navy kids were asked to play because they white team was going to be short players, but then every white team kid showed up. The navy kids should still get time on the field since they (and their parents) made the effort to show up.
If what you said actually happened you need to mention it to the coach (I know him) and he (the AGC) will explain his reasoning.

If there are 7 or 8 better teams from OPL and OYSA Prem, I'd say 8-10 State ranking is more than justified. I can at least back up my argument with some reason unlike the idiot who just says "*** how are they top 10".

I think that stuck with our girl. When they love it they want to play no matter what level. Not to score a bunch of goals but to play the game. I think parents (including ourselves in the past) are too concerned with wins and what level our kids are at. We backed off and let our dd make the soccer choices of club and to continue or not. In the end we will be at a signing on Wednesday which is great icing on the cake of this soccer journey from rec to college soccer. Our dd has soccer in the blood now and it has helped her become a confident and healthy girl.

Yes but ALL the kids should be able to enjoy the game. Our club brings down multiple A team starters to play on B team. Good for them but then the coach plays the A team players most of the game and "rests" many b team players. Not much fun for those b team players.

your "B" team child has the option to play for other teams, don't they?
both of my DD's are "B" team players and they along with their teammates have the options to practice with other teams during the week on days that we are not practicing and they have the opportunity to get more gametime minutes with other teams whether it be a year older or playing down with the "C" teams.....If your DD is not getting those opportunities than you need to complain. There are many different avenues to get your child more time on the ball.
you should come to W_T_F_C if you want this.

You're lucky. Sadly, our club doesn't seem care too much about b team players. Parents have complained to the coach and even the DOC...with no results except more & more opportunities for A team stars. We are in a smaller outlying market with only one major club and too far to go to a different club so I guess they know we are kind of stuck. We pay the exact same as premier but are getting more of a rec experience. Some just came over from rec but others are thinking of going back to rec if they can find a half way decent team. At least it's a lot easier on the wallet.

Why do you have to assume every one has horrible motives? The same questions were asked last season when RV joined the league. Just pure curiosity over who these teams are. Not slamming, not negative, just wanting to know the competition.
