How would the current best team in the state done? We have not had the privilege to play them but they like to come on here and froth about how good they are. Are they really that good? I think FCP or THUSC would put that smack talk to the curb when they get a shot at them.

This is a silly question. There are a few top teams to chose between, but I don't think there is a clear cut choice. These teams all have good and bad days. Some games also depend upon the referee and how much he will let the girls get away with.

I am going to suggest that Copa TS is ahead of them. They are only 1 point behind in NWCL, but have played 1 less game. And while THUSC is 8-1-1 in league TS is 6-0-2 no losses, in a tougher league. And ranked #1 at last planet by a wide margin above the #6 THUSC, #7 FC #8 WUSC, the top 5 teams are all ranked higher statistically than any OPL teams. And in suggesting Copa TS is ahead of THUSC I think you need to look at BCS and CFC also being above them.

The THUSC board forum board monitors hate it when facts are thrown back at them. Thusc is the top girls program, Tom tells them that all of the time, so when they aren't the best team, it must be due to some extraneous issue that will soon correct itself.

How do you back up the statement that OYSA is "a tougher league". Seems pretty subjective to me.

Very abusive team all around. It has to be taught by the coach. Disgusting is correct.

And this is why I say the reffing makes a big difference. Some refs let the girls get away with more aggressive play than other refs. Some teams play soccer and some play rugby. TS does better when they are allowed to used a two-handed push from behind to knock others down so they lose possession of the ball.

So TS was able to beat CFC in league since they are undefeated? I'm guessing yes since they are being proclaimed as the best soccer team in the state still. Does any team in OYSA not play bootball? I love the style THUSC and FCP play.

I would say that the best players that they have are two midfielders. The defenders are really getting a raw deal having to just play the ball over the top and not learning composure on the ball and playing out of the back. I would agree though that they have one girl on that team who is a total hack, especially when the team is not winning. But what do you expect from TS. Maybe they will go the way of the 01 team.
