On the pitch, FCP 02, went to war this weekend , against all the Nay Sayers.The uprising couldn't have been better if written in fabbled stories by acclaimed author's.

The message is clear " Fcp might not have been the best team in the fall, but they are FC Portland, Clive's kids"

The question out to all of you " has the giant really awaken?"

Are the Champions back?

Most importantly, they and their parents have all of their teeth and don't play the banjo, like some other clubs (you know who you are).

The corn cob is still in because FCP just had another shutout today.

Good thing the TA teams went running off to the other league because FCP would have beaten them this Spring.

FCP must have left some of "Clive's kids" at home when they traveled to AZ for their tournament and landed in last place. But heck, that was weeks ago. They've developed since then for sure.

Not a bad showing considering several of the top players were missing from the roster due to financial reasons or basketball.

Anyone who has been around club soccer for more than 6 months knows that spring games little to nothing. They are simply a chance for the kids to play prior to State Cup.

If you want to learn how to play the beautiful game then join FC or LO.

If you want to just learn how to push people and boot the ball then one of the TA clubs or a club in Vantucky may be a good option

Clive was a great man and left a legacy to be proud of. He has also been dead for more than a decade now. FCP is no longer the club they once were.

Times are changing and FCP has not been changing with them.
