Honestly

Well without 3 of the top 4 teams (***C Red, Westside TS, and Eastside) they have a shot at winning OPL state cup. But no way they would win a state cup with all the top teams in it. Sorry if you truly believe that.

Gap was alot closer than it appeared. Some coaches were instituting a style of play with a fresh group. Some teams had been built for a while and were playing for results. Check how teams played at start of season results compared to how things were in the end of the season. This spring and summer should be telling. Good luck to all. GO FC!

Focus on development means you measure your success primarily on the quality of players produced. This doesn't mean you automatically lose games because game results are not your focus. You can't look at the win-loss columns to tell who is working to developing players.

You are correct, What I meant is will they focus on development and trying new things (which may end up costing them games they may have normally won).

Say it ain't so, upsets in U11 spring soccer.

Honestly, I got to ask, who here actually takes spring soccer serious for their results? I've seen 3 games this weekend and in each case the teams that I was used to seeing looked different. I asked one of the coaches whats going on, and he simply told me that they were trying some stuff and with basketball still going on its common that they are missing anywhere from 2-5 girls per game.

Overall, people are way to worried about results, especially for U11.

Well I'm the one who wrote one of the prior comments, and I don't have any ties to either team. These are just my thoughts when it comes to how crazy some people are about this. You wonder why we struggle to develop kids, its because even there parents are stressing about every game, even pointless ones in spring.
