If I did just Oregon (leaving ***C/FCSC out) My list would probably be
    1. Westside Copa TS
    2. Eastside
    3. Thusc
    4. VFC
    5. CFC
    6. BSC
    7. Westside Copa
    8. Wusc
    9. FC Portland
    10. EMFC

If I was including the vancouver teams (you could swap the top 2, but based on the recent results)

    1. ***C Red
    2. Westside Copa TS
    3. Eastside
    4. Thusc
    5. VFC
    6. CFC
    7. BSC
    8. FCSC
    9. Westside Copa
    10. WUSC

At this age (or any age for that matter) its really hard to rank teams. From what I have seen though what you pretty much have 3 groups: First group: top 2 (westside TS and ***C red) Second Group: 3rd/4th (Eastside and Thusc) Third Group: the next 9 (VFC, CFC, BSC, FCSC, Copa, WUSC, EMFC, LO).

When you break it into those three groups this is what I see. The top group will win the majority of their games and rarely loses to anyone besides themselves.

The second group wins/ties the majority of their games but really struggles to tie/beat the top 2 teams. They also slip up a bit more often against the 3rd group.

3rd group, always has a shot to beat the top group but very rare to see it happen this year. from time to time gets a good result against the 2nd group. Anyone in the 3rd group could beat anyone else in that group on any day. Very competitive group.

        That's proof?

Probably doesn't matter anyways as the best Oregon team is lightyears behind Seattle United

Interesting that two premier level teams are above all but two of the npl league teams? and above 2 of the nwcl teams, maybe that nwcl placement tournament should have been set up differently!!!

Might want to check that out again, I have the 2 Premier teams after the 4 NWCL teams.

I can't complain with the placement. The four teams to place in the tournametn were Westside TS, ***C, Thusc Eastside. If you looked at points during the qualifying it was Westside and ***C Tied, Thusc then Eastside. In NWCL they finished ***C, Westside, Eastside Thusc. In NPL they finished ***C, Westside, Thusc, Eastside as your top 4. The fact that those 4 finished top 4 in the beaverton cup and top 4 in NPL would lend to believe that the correct 4 teams got into NWCL

I was going by the list of top 10 I gave. Those big ranking systems are pointless because they use only certain tournaments, and league scores, and don't take into consideration who they are beating and how many tough games certain teams have over other teams. So the fact that Thusc and eastside had to play and lose against westside and ***C knocked them down while BSC and CFC dominated their division. I would much rather hear peoples personal opinions based how the teams have performed this year and the results they have against other top teams in the area.

On the contrary, the lastplanet rankings take into every game played by each team. The algorithm looks at each and every game, in order, and uses each team's instantaneous strength ratings (offense and defense) to predict what the score of the game should be. It then compares this prediction to the actual score and adjusts each teams ratings as needed. After it runs through the thousands of games, the ratings converge to what is shown on the website. Read the info on the website if you want to know the rest of the details.

These rankings have been in place for over a year for the boys and for G01 girls. They have proven remarkably accurate at predicting the outcomes of tournaments, state cups, etc.

Well.... right now they are just remarkably wrong and BSC & CFC haven't proven anything until they actually beat any of the NPL teams let alone the top four?! There's a major gap between the top of these two divisions!

I'm pretty sure CFC has played and beaten some of the NPL teams. Major Gap eh? Well just FYI, CFC has played Washinton Timbers and lost 3-2. Washington Timbers did not dominate that game and CFC had some chances they did not put away. So please explain what you mean by major gap?

Where was CFC during NWCL qualifying?? Yah, still trying to figure that one out! This almost win... you mean this summer before they dropped players down and started crushing everyone? Should have put away those chances when you had them... you won't get them again! Although, you'd have done everyone a favor by taking Valley's place in the NPL, my eyes still hurt from watching that kick and chase...

But honestly those top 3 could have replaced VFC, WT Copa, FCSC, and FC portland. Any of those teams could have swapped and done about the same. I still think the same top 4 would have finished top 4, but it would be interesting to see those 7 teams play in a league and see who wins
