I think this is also going to force the four to duel register as well. Play OYSA so they have someone besided the 4 or lower div teams.

Q: some TA clubs are part of the founding clubs. Even if they move back to OYSA do they continue to get a share in the profits from OPL?

There are no profits from the OPL and clubs don't get any money from it. Review the OPL bylaws if you have any concerns.

Not the OP. But here's the issue. Nothing has happened to TS. They are still a big athletic team that plays the same as they did at the beginning of the season--long ball after long ball. They have a lot of potential there, I just don't see much progression.

I find these comments funny. From how you write this you aren't a parent of TS so have you watched them really that much to know how each player has developed? or are you basing it off the few times you have seen this team play?

Also if your team is developing and TS wasn't then wouldn't your team be closing the gap or beating them by now? Or maybe they are developing as well, but maybe you just want to bash the better teams to make you feel better about your own team?

This year was pretty telling. You could see which teams have been focused on development. TS, WAFC, EST are all examples of clubs who didn't and they all dropped.

Are you talking about the U11 WA Timbers, Copa TS & Eastside? I assume so since this is the '02 thread.

If that is who you are talking about, how did they drop? They finished in 1st, 2nd and 4th place.

WaTFC has improved both individually and as a team. They move the ball much better than the beginning of the season. I don't see them slowing down anytime soon. TS is a question mark at this point. It's hard to tell if you're not watching game-to-game, but they seem lacking in development. Nonetheless, they still dominate most of the competition. ET has dramatically improved in ball movement and ideas on the ball. They struggle to put the ball through the white thing at the end of the field, but they seam to control the field more than any of the other teams. Surprising considering their relative disadvantage in size and athleticism.

Although you make complete sense I would suggest that you just ignore most the post on this form. This entire year they keep bashing all the TA teams. Think about what is said "***C, Westside, Eastside don't improve players, only Thusc and FC portland do". I have read that again and again. However, if you look from summer to now Thusc has decreased in their ability to compete with the top teams and FC Portland has fallen to last place in NPL. At this point I just think its the only thing they have left to say because they are scared that their teams are falling behind and hoping to steal some players from the better teams.

From what I have seen at U11 this year is the teams that play the best soccer are ***C, Westside, and Eastside, but because they have athletes as well as skill they get told they are only playing well because they have athletes. But hey we all have differnt opinions and I'm sure plenty of Thusc and FC portland parents will come on and bash this comment.

These rankings are pointless... if you need any proof of that just look at Oregon and see that they have BSC as the 3rd best team in Oregon

Who is the 3rd best team in Oregon? Is CFC the second? Or should THUSC be number two?
