Don't do WUSC, that coach is beyond annoying. She does nothing but scream at the top of her lungs the entire game. Need to wear earplugs when you attend a WUSC game to tune that woman OUT.

And while the middle back of BSC constantly bossing (er I mean directing) her team mates around is super annoying as well I think that coach is pretty solid. I personally would take my kid to THUSC if I could manage the drive.

Avoid the Vancouver clubs. Coaches not strong just good athletes. Older ages lol at this Portland fc eastside or westside.

That's why we have Vancouver players coming over to play oregon doing hour commutes. If ffcsc or there had anything to offer in long run them I recommend them. It just easier to start at these clubs then trying to get a spot later at u15. By then most teams set. I avoid you if you think he top quality and coaches are in Vancouver.
The fact is every clubs have players come and go every year. The problem is most clubs are closer in proximity so you don't hear much about it, but in vancouver if they want to leave ***C there only option is to jump across the river (assuming they want a team of equal or better value).

If they were doing a bad job than at U15 those players would have no chance at making the top teams. There is a difference between developing players and Keeping players. Vancouver has always had a hard time keeping players in general, but we will see if that changes with their new merged club. However, we wont know for a few years if the bigger player pool helps keep the older teams around.

If your DD is good then she could maybe play up w/FC Pdx 01 - a top notch group with, I assume, a top notch coach

I would eliminated: ***C, FCSC (both vancouver, the drive would be HORRIBLE) and probably Eastside as well.
From whats left I would probably choose westside, Lake Oswego, BSC, or WUSC.

Your child's coach if he or she is decent should be able to give you some contacts for this area. But looking at this I would say this is someone just trying to stir the pot amongst clubs.

The reason I didn't consider THUSC is because the coach of their "A" team isn't a female but a male. so The fact your saying its Rochelle makes me wonder if you know who is coaching their A team.

Second just proves you don't know what you are talking about. Games are just a small portion of training and development. Even us soccer recommends more training less games because that is where the development occurs. So unless you are stalking the team's practices also you really don't know much about any of these teams. Or who is coaching them.
