Good god, ease up. This is one of the more civil thread on this board. Parents having a good time "talking soccer." No one is out of control and making huge claims. People realize it is just summer and are keeping it in perspective.

Agree, this is one of the few threads thats been very civil from everyone. No trash talking about clubs, just has been good qaulity talk about the teams at this age group. Its nice to have one of those to read at least.

In general, the girl threads are mean and uncivil. Gross generalization sure, but still accurate. The boy threads are reasonable and even informative at times. I happen to have both genders. I come to Talking soccer for entertainment with the girl threads, and every now and then get a nugget of something useful. For the boys, it's the opposite... usually get some quality discussion with solid information, and every now and then the discussion goes in the toilet.

I see no reason why this age group will buck the trend. If this age group is truly having quality discussions, I give it until about mid July. Then it's toilet city!

Cascadia Cup has 3 potential good teams. Looks like Eastside and Nemesis should be in finals. Ideas on were these teams might stack up for fall?

Did any of the teams play in THUSC United Cup? That final was ***C Reds 3 - 1 EMFC Force. Wouldn't it be nice if they all played in the same tournaments?

Don't think so. I don't thing the ***C Red has played either of these teams. I would think you may see all of them in one tournament at some point. Eastside is a strong team and Nemesis team coached by Tina so, I think they'd be in the running for top team fall?

All the teams will meet up in the Beaverton Cup. 17 teams entered. Pretty much looks like this going to be the cup that will help seperate who goes where in the fall. Looks pretty tough.

The last year or two the P.C.U cupt (whatever it is called) decided NWCL. Is that not the case this year?

I don't think so. I think it's the Beaverton cup. That why so many teams signed into it.
