Proving once and for all that Oregon ODP is not about finding and elevating talent but instead is about who you know and quid pro quo (google it, Vantucky folks). Well done to the Vancouver coaches for such great lobbying on behalf of their players.

ODP Regional Camp is not USYNT "Regional Pool". An even further cry from USYNT roster. OR rarely gets one in the USYNT pool, and almost never on a roster. Last year ODP had 110 at regional camp in OR, with most CA & WA not even participating. Being selected for the 18 member ODP regional team is a true accomplishment (despite being severely watered down now on girls side) and most age groups have zero from Oregon every year. ODP likes to tell hoards of kids they are "elite" to make money and keep the parents & players hooked on soccer.

I'm not the OP, just saying ODP regional camp isn't "all that". That said, if Vantucky sent way more players than other clubs, that is good for them. While at like saying "Vantucky", I think there are as decent a club as the Oregon clubs.
