FC doesn't know how to play bootball. That can be a problem when most of your competition (Timbers) are masters of the thugball bootball combination. TT gets lucky every so often. TT team is done in less than 2 months anyway, so why all the bother?

FC passes the ball back one time before they send it over top. Don't try to redirect. HSC is a good team and you better be careful because they already made your little team look silly and their players would probably knock your kid to a B team.

Fc like all Fc Portland teams, doesn't develop their players and tries to reload with players who are. Their bootball isn't any different and it shows when they don't even attempt to pass before a big kick.

Lies? You must be drinking that cool aid because facts tell a different story. Pretty funny that a team from Hillsboro out played and out possessed your kids team. Even more funny your coach is probably trying to find ways to recruit those players in place of your kid.

If FC is so bad why do all the top players migrate there and not to your Timbers club? No answer?

Noticed the change in FC's style of play this past year with the current U13 team. Recruited a few fast forwards so they are able to play the ball over the top. Good team should be able to play the ball short, long , medium, wide ,narrow and through.

FC has clearly the best girls teams in the state from U13 to U16. And 2nd best at U17 and 18. Pretty good and the reason why top players keep moving there. It's a virtuous cycle

Fc teams are a product of their coaches recruiting like mad and trying to sell snake oil. They were in chaos prior to ecnl and nearly going bankrupt. Once they got ecnl they instructed coaches and parents to recruit like mad. But already you are seeing people realize how snake like the club is and are leaving.

How does it feel to be a Fc parent knowing your kid isn't going to be there once they are done using her.

What you see is a bump after being broke but it will flatten out here soon. I'm sorry you don't see it.

So why don't all those players go to some other club? There's a good reason why FC/THUSC/Crossfire have more girls HS teams than all Timbers clubs combined, and it's not "recruiting". No need to recruit when all the top players are breaking down the door trying to get in.

They play better soccer as well. My dd's team just got laid to waist by their U16 'c' team. The score was 3 - 1 but my dd's team got lucky and bounced on in. What was pronounced was the play. Sure at this level they missed some passes, defensively kicked out of bounds instead of trying to play it out, etc. But there was a stretch where they passed it around and our girls just chased it. again, my dd plays on what would be a D1 (under premier) team / league. But I pulled up their team at this age and they have their ECNL, then an A and B team(s). My daughters club barely scraped together a team.

Hardly breaking down the door. Fc coaches and parents and desperately trying to recruit so their ecnl gamble doesn't end up being a disaster. Doesn't it say something when players who start at Fc don't usually end up keeping their spots?

Fcp was a disaster recently and once people figure out how much of a scam it is, people will do as they always do and not go there. There is a reason why they were weak on the girls side prior to their ecnl gamble and will be weak again.

Mark my words. Or don't and watch your money go down the drain for something your kid would get if they were good at any club.
