The real question is why this FC age group talks so much trash?! They better focus on recruiting cause their younger age groups are not even relevant.

Better bootball at Timbers clubs. Talented kids move to FC/THUSC to get the development. Used to be that girls moved at U15, now it happens at U12/13. Timbers clubs have nothing to offer so they just watch their underdeveloped top talents walk away.

Pretty sure they're all registered with FCP. Maybe they started out at their local rec Timbers club but their parents were smart enough to recognize that was going nowhere so they moved to a real club to get real development.

Says the clown that doesn't have a clue. Almost nobody ever leaves FCP, unlike your TA club that can't field teams past U14.

What's a "home grown" youth player anyway? Does the 1st club a player join have some "rights" to claim that player as theirs forever regardless of how little they developed them or how quickly that player realized there were much better clubs and jump ship?

No recruiting needed. The Timbers clubs are too good at alienating their top talents by not developing them so they just leave for a real club.

They recruit because other clubs are better at development. You rarely see a girl developed at FC.

FC didn't keep the four players that left because they were recruited away by other clubs. Good thing they recruited in the other 21 that developed at other clubs. Too bad they didn't develop those four that left. Lucky that the 21 they recruited were so highly developed at other clubs that they chose to leave those clubs. You guys crack me up. You talk out of both sides of your arse. On another topic, why are we all so hard on the college coaches in Oregon. You have all made it very obvious that all the development is done at the small clubs by the age of 11 or 12. (Since FC and THUSC only recruit and don't develop) So why do we blame the college coaches? They have no control over the quality of their program. They must rely on the Kick and chase coaches to develop those players. You guys should write for a comedy show with your circular vitriol.
