A big club like FCP will fare the best with the change to birth year. Of course from u14 (or now u15??) on most of the best FCP players will go ECNL...

ECNL is very expensive. Especially if you want to travel to watch.

So to being on a top team that travels a lot. Don't do ECNL, if you don't want or can't but know that many/most other top players will. Just the way it goes.

Any good team ends up traveling. Traveling costs money.

The birthday switch won't matter much to the bigger clubs, they play pool systems anyway.

Less than $800 per month if you spread it out. Plus parent travel of 2-3 thousand dollars. It's pretty reasonable.

Not sure of game details but...
                Last Planet match predictor:
                29% FCP (home) win
                43% Indie Chicas (away) win
                28 % Tie

So, good for FCP to get the 2-2 tie

                  $800 a month for soccer!?that's not reasonable.95% of America can't afford that.

If you are on a team that has three travel tourneys a year and you are doing ODP you are already paying more than what ECNL will cost you at U14g. And the exposure at ECNL is 100% greater. If you are not on a travel team and you aren't doing ODP it probably doesn't matter anyway. Keep doing what you doing.

Encl is a regional league so there will be a lot of travel. Travel is expensive.

If you chose to not travel to watch you can save thousands.

The club estimate for the kid was $7500 which is a lot less than $800/month.

I pay $110 per month for club dues, another $75 for ODP/ extra training then the fees for the tournaments were did this summer were about $50 per month, but that was only 3 months out of the year.

So the most I pay a month is $235, if you want to add in travel, game in Bend, game in Medford, a couple drives up and down the valley, maybe add in another $150 per month in gas and food, even $250 if you want to eat expensive and drive more that month, and your still not anywhere close to ECNL costs.

Their top 2 players are injured.
