One team does not a club make. Crossfire and WPFC are clearly the top clubs. There is NO argument.

And they become nothing next year when their top players move to Xfire ECNL.

Impressive considering some of the girls were barely a year old when this run of dominance started. The Seattle Copa 01's were good too. But just like Oregon, every good player went to the two ecnl clubs when they hit u14.

So what's the difference between NWCL and FWRL? Why would you choose, or be selected by one pver the other?

What I have seen is NWCL is filled with politics, they don't have a clear qualification method they pick and choose who they allow in. fWRL has qualification rules and you have to actually qualify to be included.

And that makes FWRL better competition? Don't you want the best competition available, regardless of how they got into the league?

There is no difference. Both are regional leagues for member club's best teams. No different than any other closed leagues except that they cover a whole region instead of one state or part of a state. For NWCL, the member clubs put their best teams in the league. For FWRL, OYSA determines who represents Oregon.

At the 02 level in girls I don't think you can say the Oregon teams are the best teams in Oregon, can you?

There is actually more likelihood of politics in FWRL as OYSA is the sole determinant of who represents Oregon in the league. Play the political game right and you can get your team in. At least with NWCL, the actual member clubs decide for themselves to put their best teams in the league.

Looks to me like NWCL has the top 2, FCP and THUSC while the best team in FWRL is Tiki Taka. I would give the nod to NWCL in this case.

Or maybe you should pop the balloon that is your head and come back to earth and realize your daughters team isn't invincible and there are several Oregon teams that can still play with them.

Doesn't matter. Oregon TA teams don't have a chance in either league.

Does FWRL have silver div teams accepted like Eugene's
                                02s?
