Only if you consider that there is only 1 or maybe 2 "very attractive" girls per age group in Oregon. Yes, those 1 or 2 can probably get into a D1 school without ECNL. For all of the rest, ECNL is the most surefire way to achieve the goal. It's not all about exposure to coaches, although ECNL will get you that in spades. It's also about high level training, commitment, and competition that actually makes the player significantly better than they would be if they didn't participate in ECNL.

Why wouldn't every game they play matter? I think if one team beats the other team everytime they play then the winner generally speaking is the better team. That is what is great about sports usually there is a winner and a loser. The better team wins.

I don't know about Thusc, but FCP seemed to do pretty well at Crossfire. Made it to Quarters.

FCP is a quality team playing really good soccer. I think they will be the team to beat.
