There are 2 slots per bracket. So if they don't play each other then theres a solid chance they both can get through. Tomorrow morning will be say alot. The BSC vs CFC game could make the difference. If that game is a Tie, then it helps both TS and ***C a ton.

haven't seen all the teams. But there are the possiblity of an upset. It would probably either be LOSC or BSC upsetting ***C at this point. I don't see anyone upsetting TS at the moment. But thats why I said that if BSC and CFC tie tomorrow its huge. That would raise the likely hood of the best record those teams get would be 2-1-1 and that would give a bit of error ability for ***C and TS to possibly lose a game and still get through with a 3-1 record.

I honestly think there is a good chance of a Tie. CFC has some fast forwards that are solid, but there defense isn't that impressive. ***C probably outshot them by bout the margin of 3-1. They also missed a few breakaway chances, if ***C finished their breakaways that game is 5-2 or 6-2, plus it was 3-1 till the last five mins, where a really wierd play happened where the ***c girls though the ball was out for a corner, and the player literally walked it right into the goal.

Well actually there was no "walking" and it wasn't "right into the goal" the ball was kicked from about the 18, the forward chased it down, saved it from going out, and shot from about mid way between the sideline and the goal. There was no whistle till after the goal.

I agree that CFC had a better defense, but I didn't bring it up since its already been stated on here many times that ***C's weak spot was their defense right now. There is no denying that. I never made a comment about ***C dominating though, I simply said they out shot them (which is true) and that they missed a few clear breakaways.

Yep, it was a good play. The forward had the defender beat down the side and better ball skill to get around defender.

Sorry, not to take it wrong. Just trying to point out even though CFC lost they seem to be on the right track. Think the ***C coach might have a few players in the wrong positions. Seems like he got the talent but not playing them right positons. Is he an offensive minded coach?

Sorry, not to take it wrong. Just trying to point out even though CFC lost they seem to be on the right track. Think the ***C coach might have a few players in the wrong positions. Seems like he got the talent but not playing them right positons. Is he an offensive minded coach?

At this point its a new experiment. Not exactly what you want in a tournament that means something, but not much you can do about it at this point. My guess is hes trying to just outscore teams at this point, and hope he has time to work on a new defense by the time NWCL starts, if they can make it there.

Thats tough for coach and the girls getting thrown into that position. He may have to totally rethink the formation or he might want to consider bringing back the really fast forward you had to play on defensive line playing more sweeper/stopper formation. Good luck.

This group is playing out how many would have predicted. ***C had a 5-0 win over LOSC this morning and Westside had a 8-0 win over SSC. CFC got on the winning track with a 2-0 win over BSC. Right now if you had to rank this group: ***C/Westside 1 and 2. CFC 3rd, BSC 4th, SSC 5th, LOSC 6th. That ranking could change,but Westside and ***C hold their own destiny to qualify for NWCL. If both teams win out then its whoever has more points will get to the campionship game, could be either of them as they are both tied right now.

Far more interesting right now. Thusc won again this morning over FCSC and FC portland had what some may call an upset with a win over Westside copa. What that does for this group is right now Thusc and Westside are 1 and 2, but westside has one more game against FC portland. The NWCL spots seem up for grabs at the minute, but FCSC is the only team not in the race, they are basically out of it already. If i had to guess I would say Thusc wins this group.
