I expect referees who know the rules, between the clubs and OYSA we parents pay a ton of money for clubs and OYSA to get it right most of the time. Do better and stop blaming others for your failures.

This is a system the clubs and OYSA created. $20K plus is what someone can expect to pay over their youth soccer experience, and you cry we need help. You help with budgeting, time management, and training. You don't need more, you need to get it together. Someone wrote, "Exactly so do your job as a sideline fan and shut your ****ing mouth." These sideline fans are the people funding this whole industry and should expect more. It gets a little crazy when DOC make 100K and full-time youth coaches. Long gone are the moms and dads who used to volunteer and line fields early in the morning. It is a pay for services business, and if the customers do not like it, they are going to complain because you are taking money from hard-working people and putting it in your pocket, earn it.

What a tool. Get bent. Do you not recognize that refs are at a severe shortage because A**ho!es like you, who know little to nothing about the game, won't shut their mouths, and are berating refs as they walk to their cars, and are making a mockery of themselves, their kids and the fact they're attending a YOUTH game. Just because you pay fees to your kids' club doesn't mean you get to yell at the teenager who is filling the gap created the fact adults aren't willing to put up with your BS.

Worst thing about youth sports are
                    parents.

Not the pay to travel parents, they are the best.

The best thing about youth sports is their money.

Some of you should go and spend a day on the sidelines and observe the behavior of parents (not just your kid's team) and then we can have a conversation. OSAA and OYSA should fine parents directly. Many teams's parents are great but there are some that are completely out of line towards the refs and opposing teams. There is no need for urging 10 yr old kids to be nasty and overly physical with players on the other team to the point of hurting them. And yes, yelling at the refs that are 15 years old and learning.
