Mcminville-Franklin was a great atmosphere and a great match. Two senior-laden clubs emptying the tank and leaving it all on the pitch. Should be some electric semi matches.

I heard they had to stop the Lincoln Jesuit match for 5 min and kick out a Lincoln parent for saying racist stuff . And they kept doing the respect others speech during the match.

I don’t think so, they are pretty good but young and soft. From what I can see they start under 5 seniors and the main contributors are Juniors and of course VS. next year they will
roll but it’s not a given this year.

Interesting results yesterday in 6a. You called this. Lakerridge got too confident and now gets to watch from the sidelines. Beaverton bottled like I had said they would under Jason and they get to tell their grandkids about their metro league banner for 30 years. Laughing. BM and his little rich kids apparently need to do more private trainings to beat the other rich kids. And McNary and McMinville just keep winning.


5a had a bunch go to pks. Tough way to win or lose.

Yes, Mcminville was fast, technical, and had a great goalkeeper to boot. Franklin battled hard and probably would have come up with an equalizer but Mcminnville's keeper was strong, especially on set pieces. Was a fun match to watch because the players on both teams played with passion but it didn't get too chippy or disrespectful. Thought the ref handled the match well too, only handing out one card and left the outcome up to the players.

Nothing to be jealous of. You all got fleeced by the Brit. He told you all were good, he said you were #1 and had a whole bunch of dumb posts on social media acting like they won something. They didn’t win anything and they had the same metro record as jesuit. They played and tied Jesuit and that was the peak of the season for them. It was like their Super Bowl and downhill after that.

I did call it look at reply #73 I even used the same verbiage .I am sorry it’s a sad November like I said it would be for Beaverton. Next year when the schedule is just as soft and they look decent again remember this post and the November crash that will follow.

psx2 my oldests team is out too but we didn’t act like we were the best. They played hard and just got beat in the second round . No lies, no British buffoonery , no problem.

Why do people take things like this so seriously? At the end of the days, this is still youth sports. If you feel the need to talk crap about a team or its coach, get a life.

Snobby is one thing but I haven’t heard them being racist or ridiculous on the sidelines when our school played them last year .

lakerridge parents and kids were way worse in sideline decorum . But they are basically families of kids that didn’t get into Jesuit anyway so I guess it’s the similar.

McMinnville got robbed. Missed foul calls and ghost hand ball. Refs decided this match.

McMinnville bottled it. 2-0 up, Jesuit a man down, Mc looking likely to score a third,15 minutes left and the coach decides to park the bus and play long. Should stick to coaching basketball.

Previous poster - The foul call wasn't handball, it was shouting to distract the opponent-hence why it was an indirect free kick. Ref had previously warned them.
