I heard the 2010 OPFC coach brought in players from other teams instead of promoting from the B team.

Is this true? I have serious concerns about this. They have a history of cheating and OYSA needs to hear about this. Not that they have any power.

Can’t confirm that, but can confirm an OPFC player called another player the N word, got red carded, sat out 1 game and came back for the final. New OYSA rules passed 7/31 state that use of that derogatory term warrants an automatic 5-game suspension. But OPFC will always do OPFC things. Wonder if kid will sit out 5 games in spring.

In our house I don’t consider money spent watching them do things they like as a waste ever. Not 5 not 50 not 5,000 not 50,000. That’s probably because our money is fine. With your replies I do feel sorry for your house and kids though as it’s obviously not.

Since value isn't a consideration when you purchase something, useless and costly travel with OPFC is actually your cup of tea.

Our son isn’t good enough to make that team in his age group and our daughter wants to play with friends more than anything so they stay at their current club.

This is 100% an unacceptable act by a player if true.

As for suspensions, summer tournaments have their rules laid out before they start. These are posted on the tournament’s website so you can go there and see what their rules were. They do not have to follow oysa rules or guidelines. Do not expect for suspension games from a summer tournament to be served in a league that’s not associated with the tournament. Thats embarrassing for you to even suggest that but I get you want to drag another club through mud by any means necessary. It’s what TS is for right?

I’m glad you think I can run a club or a tournament. Sadly I’m just a lame parent that isn’t blinded by hatred for any club and reads all the rules for the sports my kids play in.

I am also the nerd my daughter’s team parents come to when there is a chance of advancing or being eliminated and how all the scenarios of the group can play out for seeding of next round. #mathmom
