Two showings? Wasn't one of them a mixed team with mostly LO players? How about you just simmer down and quit putting a target on your DD's lil team. Yes, they are doing well, but arrogance and bluster is never attractive or helpful.

Im still trying to figure out the team that thinks they are meeting Onyx in the finals. Sherwood and Eastside went to Vegas along with some other random team from Oregon who played 3rd division....... Sherwood is not participating in State Cup so that leaves Eastside, Rush, FC and Stealth to have any chance of making it to the finals against Onyx.

I think I read somewhere that Onyx is the greatest team there ever has been. State cup should have been cancelled at this age group because all roads lead to Onyx championship. No need to play the games.

My DD's team plays U14 with Onyx. They are by far the best team in that division, however, I see the gap closing even if it is a slow process. You seem bitter that your daughters team has yet to beat them.

Im still trying to figure out the team that thinks they are meeting Onyx in the finals. Sherwood and Eastside went to Vegas along with some other random team from Oregon who played 3rd division....... Sherwood is not participating in State Cup so that leaves Eastside, Rush, FC and Stealth to have any chance of making it to the finals against Onyx.

Sherwood IS making a stealth appearance at the OPL State cup, as part of a blended thing with the WT Copa team- who needed numbers because a bunch of their players went to various other places. And then, after declaring themselves the 'other' State Champs, they are blending a team again to go to regionals in Hawaii? Sounds like all is peachy over there! And no, an early exit out of third div. anything is not anything to brag about except for being a nice sunny vacation.

I have no problems with Sherwood being "the other" state cup winner. Heck I wish my club would have played OYSA. Competition in Hawaii, I feel will be better than US club Nationals. Now them throwing in a few players with the other team to play OPL should be interesting. I doubt that will be the team come August tryouts. Just my opinion, but I think only a few from that Beaverton team could make the Sherwood team at U15 tryouts. They should advance to the quarters easily. Playing the Onyx early should be interesting.

This combined team will definitely give Onyx all they can handle, and maybe i will take a large leap and say upset

We will not be a blended team in Hawaii. We may have 2 Beavertn Copa players with us to stretch our roster, but no 'blended' team. Good luck to all teams participating in what seems to be a small OPL State Cup tourney this year!

We are the only one, so we win OYSA State Cup by default and move right on to Hawaii.
