    UPDX “doing real” ECNL

How are they doing you ask?

    Each division has 10 teams.

    2010 - 9th place
    2009 - 6th place
    2008 - 5th place
    2007 - 5th place
    2006 - 8th place
    2005 - 9th place

ecnl successfully integrated them, what does that mean exactly? updx showed and didn’t miss any games? sure didn’t win many

I hope delta park has enough parking during tryouts, going to be a mad house - total shotshiw

but hey you got the ecnl badge - so you must be better

I don't think WA Timbers did so great their first ECNL year either.

      Nor any year since.

Actually, a fifth place finish is worth a pat on the head and a doggie biscuit, as it means they did better than at least ONE of the major Puget Sound clubs (PacNW, Washington Premier, SU, Eastside FC, or Crossfire's A team). So a golf clap for the uPDX 07s and 08s.

Hello- the 07, 08 and 09's were quite competitive with the real ECNL clubs they played. The first years was a learning exp considering HS soccer (our team was a mix of Washington and Oregon players) with both sides missing time. Overall, as a parent, I was pleased with the progression of the team and think that the second year will be more successful.

Let's see how these teams do in state cup over the next few weeks.

And, no, the other Oregon teams are not in the real ECNL. They are playing in the step below league ECRL so they should do well there. Only one big dog per age group will work.

We sent a 3 legged, inbreed hairless mutt to Washington to race greyhounds. Big Dog my ***. Big bald joke is more like it.

Big dog. Thanks for the laugh. Maybe big mouths, Big Scam, big ego sure, bad dog, but not big dogs.

Y’all got cooked by all the top teams and not one single United team placed anywhere near the top. 2 at 5 and the rest in the basement is bad.

And then you see most of the United ECNL teams slumming in OYSA aren’t even the top seeds for their age bracket. Hilarious

                      You were scammed.

                            You were scammed.

You can smell the insecurity through the screen. United never expected to dominate in their first year in ECNL. Most clubs have growing pains. The reality is that Oregon parents/coaches like yourself have less patience than the children they’re supposed to be parenting/coaching.

You’re insecure and scared. Just admit it. We need more honesty here anyways.

                              I just like providing facts.

I’m not the one being promised anything and seeing it not materialize. We’ve got nothing to be scared about. My oldest consistently beats updx in the lowly OYSA and refuses to play for them despite being recruited constantly by coaches and even the players. The youngest is worried about if they will get dirty on grass or get to play on turf and how much rain will fall during their matches.

Life is just fine in our household . There’s your honesty
