FC 06 would most likely beat UPDX 06 in the final - UPDX have the better talent but FC are coached better. In State Cup bracket FC took the game to OPFC while in the semi UPDX sat back and let OPFC come at them. UPDX 06 look like they have gone backwards since the State Cup final last year.

Updx did not sit back against opfc. 5–1 win for updx when they last played fcp.

since Covid ended, updx and fcp 06s have played 4 times.
2-0 updx, 3-1 updx, 1-1, 5-1 updx. opfc.v.updx was the final.

This is probably the fcp coach or a team parent trying to build a narrative. Sad times for fcp, even if they win they’ll still lose players to opfc and updx.
