You must be close to one of the people on the list…the list of all of the boys invited is usually sent out to everyone invited. I heard from a guy who heard from a guy that 6 listed as Portland Timbers and 1 as WA Timbers. But the kids listed as Portland Timbers play for WSM and other clubs. Why would the WA Timbers kid not be listed like the others as Portland Timbers?

I saw the list from today…a WA Timbers kid is listed with the NorCal group. Not sure why he isn’t listed like the others. I Can speculate but he probably isn’t linked to the Portland Timbers Discovery program like the others.

Soon to be released is my guess. They always have a news release leading up to the camp. You probably have a kid included or your kid is friends with one of the kids going. Kids talk. Wait for the press release and we will know who is FOS (full of sh**) or not. Related to this, if there are so many listed as Portland Timbers and 1 that isn’t. Why is a good question. Is the kid not linked to the Portland timbers new to the area and thus not linked to the Timbers Academy?

SCA is claiming kids who are no longer with them as positive PR for developing the players. Development is great but without opportunity to play against tough competition growth will not be maximized.

The west camp has more than 1 club that will be sending a boy and girl. When there's nothing going on.....ok the club has a million kids going. Sound better now?

West camp roster has 80 boys mostly from CA and a large amount from WA. Is a mini camp, so not all states are represented just yet.

Can you not see the irony of this statement? Seriously? The kid has been elsewhere for a few months and spent close to 4 years at SCA where do you think the development took place?
