I watched a team named Kalif FC. Never heard of them before, but wow. What a team. It was like a junior pro team.

They played against an Eastside B team and a rec team from Longview. Their strongest competition was against WPL Surf, a "team" that literally trains less than once a month.....

But ok. Ya. Khalif is our new Lord and Savior. My son is a worthy sacrifice to praise and serve him. Thank you almighty Khalif.

The tournament world is changing - The highest level teams play in leagues that require more travel and they have specific event requirements. Most tournaments won't attract those teams as they are now nearly all focused on a higher training to game ratio. This means non national tournaments are going to have to focus on lower level teams for the money/competition. This is happening all over the country. Sure the high level teams go to Surf, Dallas Cup, Copa Rayados etc, but these are going to be fewer.

that surf team was mostly kids from ecnl teams in the Seattle area. They were good too.

Looks like it was a one and done and they don’t have a team in mount hood cup

Kalif has a Futsal team and most of his players weren’t playing in the Nike cup as their clubs didn’t participate so he entered his Futsal team.
