fear. Any OYSA team is more competitive than some fc pdx ecnl teams. If anything, thorns had a better competition than one of their league games.

Lu is delusional about her non-state cup winning team. Wa Timbers would lose to the Thorns 0-3 as well. They play in 4th tier of Surf Cup. The ECNL teams play 3 levels above that.

NWE getting worse as the years go on isn’t exactly new news. Even their own coaches talk about how they push for wins at the younger ages hoping to recruit but by the time they get older if Kevin Legg isn’t on the team they start to crumble and no one wants to stay there. Their 06 team was good in the past but wait and see them be near last place this year. They lost kids to thorns and injured a lot of their own players.

Oh please. Thorns lost one kid to NWE and thorns teams in the past have been the worst. 04 and 03 team couldn’t even beat the best OYSA teams let alone 2nd and 3rd place teams. You thorns idiots need to look in the mirror.

This post smells of a disgruntled former NWE employee. The NWE 06s are more than fine. Played well against top champions league talent even with key injuries and most definitely did not get destroyed. Injuries are unfortunate and too prevalent at U16 (in fact, ask Kevin Legg). I have no opinion on the other stuff except that the Thorns/NWE games are always good, and next year will be no exception. Carry the hell on ...
