I have seen her out coach teams with superior talent and she was very consistent with both my girls. My youngest switched from FCP to Thusc many years ago because she wanted to be coached by Rochelle. My kids are still big fans…

I was at this game, it could have been 0-8(06game)
udpdx had 1 cance on goal...only thing that put a damper was thorns player with significant knee injury
it was not close
Then the 08 thorns beat the 07 udpdx state Champs
That was a good game and really competitive.
thorns 08 beat Eastside 07 state runners up 8-0 the previous weekend
It was not even that close

They've been training almost exclusively at Providence and the Timbers facility over the last 3-4 weeks. Providence gets booked once in a while for events, graduations, and professional sports teams. The Timbers facility is often used by...the Timbers.

Timbers/Thorns youth association is losing major numbers and money.
Thorns Academy is nearly broke. Request their finances and see for yourselves.

This was all based on cost and Westside cut bait as well.

Tom Atencio is the only reason Thusc turned into CU.

Thusc was the most dominant club along with fc Portland.

if he’s at fc Portland now instead of San Fran, that’s going to be an issue for other clubs to have to deal with.

At least coaches are trying to give these kiddos new challenges, many OYSA teams wouldn’t play ECNL out of
fear. Any OYSA team is more competitive than some fc pdx ecnl teams. If anything, thorns had a better competition than one of their league games.

thorns 06 has yet to play Wa Timbers GA… for a reason.

Surf cup still denies teams. Congrats to the OR teams representing.
