they weren’t successful in oysa. I’m not sure why they thought joining GA was a good idea. Portland is not big enough to have 3 ECNL and 2 GA teams.

Is there still talk about Portland going down to only 2 ECNL teams for next season?

ECNL is youth soccer at the highest level. We only have one group in Portland with the structure and funding to do this in the correct manner for PDX. (Thorns, all other options are structured poorly or managed selfishly. If PDX wants the best for our best, then it would get behind Thorns for highest level soccer. ( Not affiliated with Thorns in any way, just a parent who has been through this already ) What we have now is a dumpster fire of subpar soccer. Our best deserve better.

I haven't heard anything specifically but I find it hard to believe that FC Portland isn't in some risk of being demoted to ECNL-RL

How about FC Portland? currently 1 win, 20 losses, 1 draw. 13 goals for, 97 goals against. NEGATIVE 84 GOAL DIFF.
When will FC Punching Bag be relegated to the ECRL. This current situation has absolutely no upside for the players, league, and clubs.

Now we have the new USYS National League Elite 64. I wonder if any Oregon clubs will be accepted?

Why would they admit ECNL teams?

So they are just trucking in players from outside the area to wear their jerseys? They got worked again pretty good this weekend.

At the age groups they couldn’t field teams they have out of state teams filling those spots. I know the 06 “bridge city team” was actually from Idaho.

Yes, they are the "Indie Chicas" and kudos to Bridge City for recognizing they were short on players and bringing on a seasoned team
