I have a close source, Jim and WUFC/OPFC (which yes are basically the same club) decided to mutually part ways as Jim was fed up with the board of directors and they failed to renegotiate a new contract with him. That is all there is to it. He is now moving on to bigger and better things.

Your close source is a spin master. Go to the WUFC website. Find the board minutes. Read that their counsel’s advice left them no choice but to remove Jim from his position. Doesn’t sound like a mutual parting of ways to me.

Couple that with the resignation of the treasurer the same day (per the minutes), and it doesn’t seem like it could be anything but $$$ related. Also, Ray Nelson was removed from his position ad ED a few days later. Just follow the paper trail in the minutes, the answers are all there.

Also, much discussion of 0PFC being allowed to cheat in the mount hood cup with an overage keeper. While ADF whines too much about a second rate local tournament... If your goalie gets hurt or sent off and there's no other keeper on the roster, you should do what every other team does in that situation: put a field player in goal and hope for the best.

Well obviously it was a money thing, they realized they were paying him too much and could no longer sustain it that's why they sought legal advice. If it was anything illegal, law enforcement would've been involved. Please go spread your agenda else wehre.

He said he fd....up big time and got caught by both clubs doing the same thing to each.

Like I said a nuanced approach just doesn't end well in non profit mission based youth soccer.

Ask JB yourself, as his actual outcome was far more favorable than other possibilities.
