Or, depending on the coaching assignments, it may be some talented 12 and 13 year old kids dumping the new merged organization.

Anyone considering having their U13/U14 child join the newly merged Vancouver Timbers next season should be interested in the coaches that are being assigned to those age groups.

If you're not interested in your 12 or 13 year old playing on a Vancouver Timbers team next season, why bother reading or posting on this thread?

If you want your VUSA or WSA child to continue next year at VT regardless of who her/his coach will be, expect some surprises after try-outs that "it won't be business as usual."

The coach is not the ONLY thing I would like to know. How many teams at each level? Will teams train together and the kids will move around, academy style? How many on each premier team? (I heard a rumor that they will go with 21-22.) Can my player request to be with the B team if they want more playing time or like that coach better? What are the new costs that go above and beyond the $1100 (registration and tryout) fees?
