    Home To Roost

I think things have finally come home to roost at SC for years that have pushed the girls and the boys premier program has just held on.

All the so called good coaches were on the girls side. The boys had decent people coaching but never the gene pool to pick from but never had any traction within the club hence the Camerons and the Victors got the power to do as they willed. When you have 50 girls to pick your team from you had to be useless not to get it right but when you had 20 boys to pick from you knew you had your work cut out to develop them.

It has always been a girls program now that program is failing the club is failing.

I think the horse has bolted all they can do now is close the gate.

I'm a glass if half full kinda perons. Maybe the mistake was in the hiring not in the "firing/departure". I think the recent departures were positive, warranted, needed......

But they make big announcements about the new hire and everyone jumps on board and it will be great and the old coach was the problem. And now it will be great just watch. That is what everyone said last year with all the new hires and quality of coaching and after one year they are all leaving again and SC is again saying it is for the best, the new coaches are awesome.

I wonder what the story will be next year when all of the "current" coaches leave next year.

Same story differnt year-- but this will be the year. Enjoy.

Turnover happens at. every. club. Obviously you are don't like SC so nothing anyone says or does is going to change your mind. It's very simple - don't play there but let everyone else make up their mind. I can only speak for BU15 - and I know the Timbers have had a new coach at this age level every stinking year for the past 5 years. They were still hunting for a coach for their team 3 days before tryouts....and I'm sure they have rallied around everyone of those coaches and touted him as being the best and for whatever reason they left. WSA has had consistently had turnover at this age level as well. Sick of hearing all the criticism and fingerpoint at only SC. Yes, they obviously have their issues but they aren't alone.

Does anyone have a link to the coaches for this year and bios? I heard there were some changes on the boy's side.

Here is a link but I think they did not update it

The WSA one has been updated this year but don't know if this is the latest

Beats me why a premier club doesn't give a damn about keeping their website up to date.

Last half of April. They'll be called "Academies" as "kickarounds" aren't allowed until the week before tryouts.

After announcing their new U11/U12 coaching assignments last Monday, wasn't the plan to declare the U13/U14 coaches within a week?........meaning today?

                      (drum roll................)

I heard a "semi-reliable" rumor that the pending announcement of coaches for these two age groups is bogged down in politics and jockeying for position.
The VT coaches assigned to the younger (and older) age groups won't carry the same drama and high anxiety.

Gary stated last night that U13/U14 assignments should be posted by this Wednesday (3/20) with HS girls assignments posted early next week. HS boys were completed back in February prior to tryouts.

Are you sure that's what Gary O. said ?
He would be naming the new VT U13/U14 coaches today?

I must have missed his memo.
Or maybe he's working late this evening at the bar/office, trying to figure out which coaches to piss/kiss off?
