G '00 are training at Pioneer Elementary Tuesday 530-7pm if anyone is interested. This is the up and coming GU12's.
All 4 current VUSA G2000 teams will be out there training.....I'm sure anyone is welcome...good way to meet the coaches and ask questions.

I just happen to get lucky and hit this forum to find out that the G'00's are training on Tuesday...I have a daughter at that age although probably not good enough to play on the "A" team it's nice to know VUSA has 4 teams there....I hope there's a place for my daughter....we need a change from last year...FCSC drama burnt my daughter out.

VU G01's are having a "training" session Wednesday at 5pm on the field south of Hudson Bay High School (south side of Mill Plain). Were about 50 girls there last week. Tryouts start Friday night 5-6:30 at Harmony Complex. Saturday/Sunday 12-1:30 at McKenzie.

jsut thinking about those three age groups... the coaching is phenominal...
Steve Studley and Jeremy Tyger for the '01's with the best talent in the area.
Doug Wolvert and Steve Bowmer for th '00's - not all of the best talent but amazing coaches that do well with what they have - definetly development based group.
Peter Pickett '99's - this team is fun to watch - a very smart coach that has the girls playing the game right.
Keep an eye out for this group...it's rare to see three solid years in a row...

With the merger taking place next year, might be best to switch over to VUSA now. Not a VUSA lover--just know what you can expect with SC.

Vancouver Timbers on Fire!
Vancouver Timbers just inked a deal with Director's Mortgage for $250,000!!!!!!!!!!
This should be a great shot in the arm for the newly merged 4000+ player club.
Vancouver Tmbers have also announced that they will not raise players fees. Fees will remain at $939/year.
The $250,000 is a field sponsorship that will be used towards building new turf fields.
Now if we can only get them to close the deal at Delta Park the club would be set. Personally I think three new turf fields isn't enough so Delta is a great option for the Advanced Comp side.

What's "RCL" stand for? "Real Champions League"? :)

How is it looking for tryout numbers? Any early guesses? I saw some WSA boys at a Pacific tryout.

VUSA is having huge numbers, especially at the lower ages. Probably looking at 3-5 teams at U10 again in both ages.
I have not seen any drop off at Pacifiic, looks like they will increase numbers across the board. Not wild increases but no drop off.
Have not seen any SC stuff--just not on any of my kids radar, as they really do not have any kind of a boys program over there.
Good luck at try-outs tonight for the little ones.

Numbers at VUSA GU13 last night were nominal about 20. Guess the B team didn't live up to the $1000+ bill that was invested. Most of those kids went to see what pacific had for a 1/3 of the cost.
