No one said anything about those showcases. No one complained.
Why don't you just chill a little?

Did the U17's deserve to go to Surf Cup last year? Did the 15's deserve to go to Vegas Showcase.....do the 99' and '00's deserve to go to Surf this year? Relax, because it's not about what you think....your opinion does not matter in the PDX soccer work and there is a reason you are not in charge of anything to with PDX metro soccer

The opportunities are just so much more. Of course, I have my eyes on everything. If VT drops the ball or places coaches poorly or whatever, will I move away in the interest of my kid. You bet. But for now, it is clear VT going forward is the only relevant club in SW WA for the premier soccer player. Period.

The idea might be good, but the execution has been, and will continue to be, very poor. I hope Eli sees what's going on and makes some changes soon but I'm not holding my breath. VT is quickly becoming the club where all the select players go so they can call themselves "Premier". Size, politics, and the "brand" matter much more than the quality of soccer does. Many of the better players in each age group have already, or will soon, move away from VT.

Changes
With the merger going through and Eli being new, it is time for other changes in the club. We will get more of the same from the same people.

Just look at their club performance versus other equally sized clubs in the area. They are NOT performing better than THUSC or FC or WST.
I dont care about what Vantucky does and its fun to see how you guys rip each other up, like junkyard dogs fighting over a bone but thinking its steak. I understand that some of you need to blindly promote your shiny new and improved BIG club. You're wishing and hoping its gonna solve all your issues. Good luck with that. In the meantime, keep sending your top players our way.

VT is a Regionally based club now....not just Portland Metro...
with teams consistently going to:
Mustang, Disney Showcase, Surf Cup Showcase, Vegas Showcase....I hear there could be four teams going to Surf this summer......does that sound like a club limited to Portland metro? Name a club that has even two teams accepted into a tourney like surf cup?

VT Coaching Staff Announced...
