I believe you meant to say USYSA has been replaced with US Club Soccer in the OPL structure.

        No

I didn't mention that OYSA is a branch of the USYS but not a branch/member of US Club Soccer.

        Semantics.

Net effect--US Club Soccer effectively replaces both USYS and their State level branch the current OYSA.

OPL is not taking the place of OYSA or does it intend to be--for the layman the 'middle man' (OYSA) has been taken out of the equation by joining US Club Socce.

OPL league(s) are all sanctioned and administered under US Club not USYS/OYSA.

Who knows with so many teams electing to go US Club Soccer from Oregon they may have to establish an Oregon office (basically a US Club-branch-office in Oregon).

Then the OYSA type of entity would re-emerge as a branch of US Club soccer.

Cutting out the middle man has it's benefits---and it's downside.
