I don't know about the rest of you folks but I'm tired of wading through all the name calling, mudslinging, rock throwing and cage fighting just to get some good predictions so I started a new thread dedicated to predictions ONLY. They can be serious, humorous or whatever but let's leave the BS to the other thread and talk numbers and reasons here. Sound good? I had to dig through 5 pages of bull to find the last prediction posted, it is below with a couple modifications. Thanks I look forward to reading the posts.
Saturday 4/17
O.C. Pioneers vs BSC Mercury Black (OC 1, BSC 2)
O.C. holds their fate in their own hands. If they beat BSC here AND FC Platinum the next day, they could possibly take over #2 spot in C group. BSC is playing tough after their opening loss Rush by holding down FC Platinum to just 2 goals in the 2-1 loss.
SSC Hotspur vs Sherwood Force (SSC 3, Force 0)
SSC is tired of being pushed around and will come out with something to prove. A win puts them into the Quarters.
Arsenal vs PCU Impact (ESUFC 2, PCU 1)
Both teams are coming into this game fired up. Each could capture sole possession of second place in the D group. One of the best games today.
OR Rush vs FC Platinum (Rush 3, FC 1)
This will be the best game Saturday. A must win for FC since Rush has 2 remaining games. Rush is coming off a 6-1 pounding of BSC and FC squeaked past the same BSC team 2-1 last weekend. Based on that and the talent Rush has, the nod goes their way.
RVSC vs FC Ruby (RVSC 1, Ruby 2)
Most physical game with most injuries and cards. Ruby won't know what hit them (literally). Ruby has been the great surprise this State Cup. Playing Sodium very tough and them a tie to the always physical Hotshots. RVSC can be scored on (evident last weekend) so if Ruby can avoid the pulling linemen, they could just pull this out and have a mathematical shot at second place in the B group. Wouldn't that be great! Bring plenty of ice for the ride home.
Sunday 4/18
THUSC vs Hotshots (THUSC 3, Hotshots 0)
Coming off a 9-0 win is tough. If Sodium gets over confident, Hotshots could come up and bite them. Hotshots should be mentally fired up after a 0-0 tie to the Div1 Ruby. Sodium's injuries (from RVSC) should be healed by now and will consider Hotshots a pillow fight.
Magic vs Arsenal (Magic 2, Arsenal 0)
If Arsenal beats PCU this game could have placement implications. This will be the best game of Sunday. Going to have to go with Magic.
WSM Venom vs PCU Impact WSM 1, PCU 3)
PCU has proven to be a very scrappy team. I like them and will give them the victory. If they can beat Arsenal on Saturday, they could possess second place in D Group.
OR Rush vs O.C. Pioneers Rush 4, O.C. 0)
O.C. can say goodnight. Rush will dominate on their home turf.
