Was the site taken down due to " Political " activism not congruent with current " Executive " subjection.

This " Event " is highly questionable and very worrisome.

If you go to the site, it says - "coming soon server crashed"

Don't know how or why it went down but it's unlikely due to political activism. Dominic blackballed someone when he didn't like their political proclivities but he specifically created politically driven topics (for that) and eventually drove people out... well, people he didn't agree with... if they didn't follow the rules of staying on topic. As heated as it got, I can't imagine it shutting down because of that.

I don't think it was due to Dominic at all, I feel it was outside sources/elements.
I have run afoul of the Moderator/Domain owner (Dominic), but I toned my entries
          down and carried on.
He had a great solo Political Forum for quite some time. I'm guessing the traffic didn't
justify the expense outlay at that time.
I think the market would bear the costs now for a solo Political Forum.

Seems like Dominic would have told everyone he was taking it down before just dumping it. Do you think Dominic was just a moderator and didn't own the site? If there was some kind of warning, it must have only been a couple of weeks ago.

Yes, Dom did own the site. I would agree that he would have reached out first prior to shutting down the site which is something he did do prior to shutting down and migrating the NorCal Soccer Forum site a few years ago.

Looks like it's completely gone now.

SoCalSoccer Forum comes up with " Not Found " 404.

It was a good site and a had a good run....!

Its too bad. At least I don’t have to hear from Husker Du and Espola anymore. Where is my homie Crush???

Yeah... I've gone 2 hours now without hearing about how Crush and his kid were lied to by a coach in 2005. To your point, though, Husker and Espola won't be missed by anyone but their full time caregivers.

Well, it's still down. I'll keep my eyes on this board for awhile as well. I was hoping that it would come back online. Looks like the Socal discussions may have to find a new place.

That's unfortunate. I was starting to read up on College Recruiting topic now that my DD is nearing the recruiting age. There seemed to be a lot of valuable information within that topic.

                          Market is sliding down....

                          US productivity is sliding down...

Current administration's credibility is sliding down even further....

SoCalForum needs to be brought back up !

Espola has posted recently on Big Soccer's Youth soccer Forum

Isn't Espola another one that had a kid graduate from college 10-years ago and can't let it go?

any suggestion for other socal forum? Can this one become a replacement for socalsoccer?
I learned a lot from some postings.
