Was watching the ECNL matches this weekend in Wilmington, NC. NCFC just throttled all the Hammerhead teams. Two matches in particular (U15 and U16) were some of the most poorly officiated games I have ever witnessed in youth soccer. These match officials did everything they could do it seemed to give the Wilmington teams a chance. That isn't supposed to happen at any level... let alone youth matches. If I'm the director of youth soccer at Wilmington, I'm having a sit-down with the director of officiating and putting a stop to that nonsense.
