      League Power Rankings
For more information on how the league power rankings & divisional standings are created, please look in our policies in Sections XI and XIII. These are determined using the rating percentage index (RPI). The RPI is a mathematical formula that objectively ranks teams based upon a team's wins and losses and its strength of schedule.

The Region 2 Regional Tournament will consist of 12 women's teams and 16 men's teams. The women's division bids will go to the top team from each division and 6 wild card teams. The men's division will consist of the top team in each division with the remaining 8 invitations given to wild card teams. The wild card teams will be the next highest RPI ranked teams that have not already qualified by divisional placing.

Just about every college in Florida , not only the bigger ones, have club teams that travel and play each other. FGCU, FAU, Miami, Stetson also play FSU, UF, UCF, USF in the Florida league.

They get some great players who played at top clubs but either chose not to play in college or couldn't get the spots they wanted. Some have been cut from their college teams but they're still great players. Tryouts will easily have 100 show up for 6-8 spots open that year.

The travel schedule is demanding for college club soccer players and they don’t get tutors.

My kids' team practices all school year but not as often as in season, and the play scrimmages whenever they can get them. Some may not do that. Many of the players are in local adult leagues too.
Our kid’s was 150 for the year. The university student activity fees covered the rest of the club soccer expenses.

They shouldn't drive either because they might get a ticket.

College soccer club captains are the students. Often the student government doles out the money to the sports clubs to reimburse the students for rental vans, gas and hotel rooms.

The students are the coaches and organize the club teams.

Yawn.... another failed attempt at wit. If your kids are successful, you may want to check to see if they are really yours.

Maybe at some but most have adult non-student coaches. Students do help with organization but there's nothing wrong with taking on the responsibility.
