Because soccer clubs have a massive a/r after February? Check the merger date friend. It was between Fall and Spring so how would there be all these payables and no money from recievables? Are you saying that the field rentals, refs and coaches were all paid in advance of the spring season? You make no sense and soccer clubs are not complex accounting systems. Money in and money out. It goes month to month. Most parents pay up front and that money is drawn down through the season. A few are on payment plans and those are done by February. If you are speaking about Spring Rec fees, then you need to count your participants again. CFK did not have $100,000 in outstanding recievables of rec fees in Feb of 2012.

I think you would be wise to do an audit of FKK right now before it gets any worse. You are rolling off a very disappointing rec tournament (33 teams) and I know HM has given out quite a few scholarships this year for his Black team players. Some are deserved but others were just to bring them over to build his roster. When you have a player on scholarship you have all the expenses and none of the revenue. 1 scholarship player equals about 5 paying players in regards to breaking even on revenue and expenses. That is unless you have some rich benefactor who will underwrite those scholarships for you.

No, I'm not kidding. Nobody told you Burleigh would be here. We can't control that some coaches didn't show up. I think the club did a great job bringing in some important local coaches. It's exposure, and we do it better than anyone around. Not everyone wants their kid to play at UF. OCYS is reaching out to players who may be suitable for other schools like the ones that were there.

Maybe if you read my post, I never said OCYC told me Burleigh was going to be there, If I want to go see her we just go to UF. You listed 12 coaches on the girls side so 9 coaches decided not to show up. Fine then just admit it was a bust and stop trying to make it sound like it was some great experience. It was OCYS payers and 3 girls from the outside.

Actually, you had better look again. CFK operated as such throughout the spring season of 2012 and the merger that officially never happened took place after the spring season. The field rentals are not due until after the spring season and thus the $35,000 would be due about the same time as the tryouts and next years registration fees. Again you show that you don't know a whole lot about the soccer club business. Yes, CFK and FKK I'm sure have given quite a bit in scholarships but obviously you don't know how those are administered. They are not just given as a full fee to anyone that the DOC or ED wants there is actually an IRS formula that tells how much someone is able to get. Maybe you should educate yourself a little more then get back to us.

GB organized a semi secret trial using U12 parents as scouts in order to recruit more 2002 from all over the state, I guess having a u12 purple team full of 2002s plus two U11 purple teams full of 2002s was not enough. Or maybe he was trying to get back at CM for excluding his team last year. In any case it sure looked like they were trying to keep all the U11 purple 2002s from trying out. Some how the word got out and one of the u11 purple teams was allowed to try out.

Big slap in the face of all the U11 purple team players especially the second U11 purple team which has some very good players. In fact the second U11 purple is going to the regional finals while the top purple was eliminated.

Dear OC, please keep your ECNL program afloat and going strong. As soon as FKK goes under, the top girls in central Florida will come over. So, please make sure you don't burn any bridges so our girls will be able to play at the top level, and of course OC will then be able to actually compete at the top level. Until then, please work with the Second string players and keep them happy. By all means, please don't let them compete in any outside tournament like you did at Disney a week ago because local teams will just beat down their confidence.
